International Students

Why choose the Faculty of Medicine in UVic-UCC?

With its international vocation and an innovative pedagogical model, the Faculty of Medicine at UVic-UCC places the students in the centre of the entire training process, using teaching methodologies such as learning based on clinical cases, simulations, clinical practices, and cooperative work to provide them with the most appropriate values and skills for their training.

Practicum internships in healthcare facilities are one of the key components of the UVic-UCC Medicine degree syllabus. Through the careful planning of innovative practicum internships and collaboration between institutions and university and healthcare professionals, clinical skills and key competencies can be acquired, ensuring access to specialized medicine and future integration into professional teams.
