The Faculty of Medicine at UVIC-UCC has two access routes to its degree in Medicine: university pre-registration and direct access through the recognition of credits from previous studies. In order to access our degree via credit recognition the following requirements must be met:
1. If the degree of origin belongs to the same field of knowledge as the degree of destination, you must have a minimum of 50 approved credits from the degree of origin.
2. If the original degree belongs to a different field of knowledge, you must have a minimum of 60 approved credits from the original degree.
3. A minimum of 30 credits must be recognized in the study to which admission is requested (the TFG will in no case be subject to recognition). Failure to comply with the above criteria is grounds for exclusion from the process.
Number of places on offer
In the first call, a maximum of:
- Degree in Medicine: 5 places
The remaining places reserved for this type of access will be assigned in the second call depending on the places that remain free once all places have been assigned through the university pre-registration route.

Allocation of places
Places will be awarded to the highest grades resulting from the summing up the points obtained in the grading criteria specified above. In the event of a tie, the average grade of the academic record will prevail.
